Studies with mouse sarcoma 180.

Negative results are reported for five compounds tested against mouse Sarcoma 180. Twelve mice, 18 gm. Rockland and Carworth Farms mice, were used for each test. The tumors were implanted subcutaneously by trocar in the right axilla. When the implants were seven days old the compounds were in jected intraperitoneallytwice a day for seven days. The compounds were tested at the maximum non-lethal doses. There were no deaths and the mice gained in weight up to 4 gms. during the test period. The compounds tested were as follows: DOSE ENTRY NO.
